Franklin Vent-Free traditional inserts are offered with a built-in thermostat, with a Millivolt system, and with our Green Earth Preferred Intermittent Pilot (IP) system. All of these inserts operate without electric power to provide heat during power outages.
The Franklin traditional Millivolt and IP systems can operate with an optional remote, a wall thermostat, or even a programmable remote control thermostat
Franklin Vent-Free inserts feature Banded Brick Liners, with hand-painted ceramic fiber logs nestled atop the variable-flame burner, to create an exceptionally attractive traditional fireplace. The unique Slope Glaze Flair Burner produces natural flickering flames that dance and delight – warming your heart as it warms your soles.

Decorative Louvers
With three styles and two finishes from which to choose, our decorative louvers help create the perfect look for your Franklin traditional fireplace insert. Finishes include our rich matte black and contemporary hammered pewter.
In addition to the traditional slat louvers, we offer a graceful Arched pattern and a geometric Mission pattern.
